I know the past shouldn't mean anything

it’s the future we should care about, the future makes us who we are. but the terrifying part of the past is that no matter what you do, no matter how happy you may be now, it will never go away. you can never change it. it will always be there and it will always haunt you and you will always be its victim.
I like to notice the little things, like the second the street lights go on…
